The Boxer Story
Mr. Itteera Kavungal, the Managing Director of Boxer Apparels, belongs to the humble town of Chalakkudy in Trissur District, Kerala.
Mr. Itteera wanted to venture into a business and his market research revealed that quality sportswear had a huge market in Kerala. In 2003, he pulled in the famous Football Player I M Vijayan as the goodwill brand ambassador and started Boxer. Together, in 2004, they launched the brand at a gala football match in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi. The brand was an instant hit due to the novelty, international quality and variety it offered.
In 2006, Mr. Itteera started a factory for making sportswear, footballs, soccer boots etc. at Chalakkudy in Trissur District. Within a few years, he expanded into another factory which focused on sports bags and accessories while the first one focused more on manufacturing sportswear, 200+ T Shirts every day.
At present, Boxer has factories in Chalakkudy, capable of designing and manufacturing customized School Uniforms, Corporate Gifts, Travel Gear, Sportswear, Accessories, and Uniforms for the Hospitality, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Corporate workforce.
